Yeah, some of the videos and all the meaningless mentions of the synodality buzzword make me want to take a certain 1960s-era politician's quote and adapt it:
Cardinal Tagle: "In the name of the greatest people that the spirit has ever led, I draw the line in the dust and toss the gauntlet before tradition, and I say synodality now, synodality tomorrow, synodality forever!"
I know David danced before the Lord, and I hope I'm not being too uncharitable to Cardinal Tagle, but I'm not overly excited about him.
Most of my thoughts come from this video set of biographies of the papabile cardinals, but Tagle's section of it wasn't overly comforting to me as far as theological orthodoxy is concerned: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X8Fj8FlA0vQ&t=1894s
Oh, Heavens spare us! Those videos of Cardinal Tagle could only but bring to mind Michael Matt's famous line: "It's all fake and gay!"

Groovy, baby, YEAH!
After making the video, I can't get this line out of my head: "Cardinale, can you sing for us?"
Heaven forfend, that’s all we need: a dancing pope!!
